I have been looking for the birth of a Catherine Vaccari in Boston Lincs abt 1837.
I'm not sure of her exact date of birth as on the 1861 it looks like she is either 26 or 28. On the 1871 she is 34 and on her death in 1872 she is down as 40.
There are various spellings of Vaccari. It could be Vaccare or Vacchare, depending on how it was transcribed at the time.
On the 1861 she is down as born Boston Lincolnshire, but on the 1871 down as Hull. All her siblings were born Hull so I don't know why she is down as Boston, unless the family were there for a short time.
I would be extremely grateful for any help.
Thank you very much

Hi It is quite possible that there was some travel involved. At that time there was a lot of movement of passengers by sea around the coast of UK, it was often quicker and cheaper than coach travel, especially if you were in a port town. Perhaps they were travelling from London or elsewhere in a coaster going port to port. Cheers Barry
