think this might tie up
if you look at the 1891 census i posted for james
boarding with him was a george rendle born in sherford. abt.1863

coming forward to the 1901 census

mary.a. age 31. b. stokenham. wife.
ernest.a. age 6. b. ditto. son.

i think this george rundle and the george rendle from 1891 are the same person
i also think his wife is mary.ann mitchelmore
