Hello again,
I am clutching at straws here- a William Bellamy RISDON married Mary DEARLE in Bethnal Green 1803...
William was the chief officer on the 'Duke of Clarence' about 1793 and sailed to Australia so I am assuming he would have been about 20 at least to hold that position, however, I found an article in the Ipswich Journal of 1804 that he was ' Ensign William Bellamy RISDON being promoted to Lieutenant in the ' Loyal Ongar Hundred Volunteers'...Ongar is in Essex...so wonder if there is any information anywhere on this couple in Essex.
His wife may have been a lot younger than him, but I have found no children on IGI. I am hoping something may show up in 1841.
Modified: Just found out Wm Bellamy RISDON became a veterinary surgeon but died in July 1815 at Farm Street, st George Middlesex- weirdly, there was a court case over his bankruptcy in 1835! The case was known as ' PARROTT v DEARLE"
Any help would be most appreciated
Kind regards Kiwi
