Sarah Wood born 1788 Mother
William son born 1814 Buxton son Innkeeper

On his grave it had late of the Eagle Hotel Buxton. Thank you

Ralph Phillips MS 1841 also lived at the Eagle Inn in 1851
(a faithful employee???)

You've probably got info on the "Eagle" -but thought this little snippet may be of interest
The Eagle Hotel -once an overnight stopping off point included in your fayre when travelling on the London to Glasgow Stagecoach
