Thomas Young
« on: Sunday 02 March 08 17:58 GMT (UK) »

I am searching for the death of Thomas Young, or (Thomas Henry Young).
He was my first great grandfather b abt 1851 Salop he moved around the country with his wife Emma -father's portble theatre.  After his wife Emma died abt 1894? The theatre folded and he moved to live in Rushden Northants.  He is not in the burial records there.  My mother tells me she thinks he moved to live in Newton Bromswold Beds with his eldest widowed daughter, Blanche Stevens, but I cannot find him there either.  He is supposed to have died abt 1926/7 can anyone out there help.

The closest I can find to a death around that area 1925-29 is a Thomas Young age 74 in Newport Pagnell registration district in the Dec quarter 1925 vol 3a page 1150

A lovely place but not in Bedfordshire  Embarrassed

I wonder if you can find any links via the theatre world?  If you have info on the particular theatre perhaps you can find them?

There is a good site @ http://www.peopleplayuk.org.uk
search for 19th C

My link seems faulty - if you try ''peopleplay'' that may do it?

Hi all,
Peopleplay isnt the right site fro me i cant seem to get anywhere with at it least.  However i have now tried journeyfolki.org.uk and this seems a good site to have on board.  I am having trouble registering but am in touch with the site so this will be sorted soon I am sure.
Thanks all of you for your help.  eise
