Lost ALDENS in Berks

Hi List
George Alden & Eleanor Tocock (b 1817 Eversley) were married 1837 in Reading, Searches so far have failed to trace their movements until they appear in Forest of Dean 1856 with there children,George,William,James,Henry,Alfred ,Thomas & Stephen. I am trying to find where they were between 1837-56 - has anyone any leads
please.

I do not know the answer to your question, but I too am looking for Aldens.  I have some ancestors with the middle name of Alden and think there may be a connection or a clue to the identity of a mother.  They may be in England or in the Isle of Man.  Have you seen any connection to Hiern?

No sorry I don't have that connection at all - and I have not come across the name Alden as a middle name. There again as it was their surname I suppose that is not that unreasonable.
