Hi Celia and Erika
Erika - thanks for that, I'll try and figure who they are.
Celia - I've tried to find him on previous census' on Ancestry, without success. If you have findmypast or another search provider, I would be over the moon if you could find him. I've noticed in the past that some people can be found on one and not another (wonder why?).
Best wishes to you both, John

Hi Celia and Shaun
Thanks a lot for that Celia. The 1890 boatman is probably him, the rest ? but many thanks for your time and effort.
Shaun - it did go off topic (sorry). Where did you get those other references? I could find nothing on Ancestry. Many thanks, it looks like him. Just have to find where he fits into things.
Thanks to you both, John

Thank you Erika for your quick reply ,The John Fletcher you found is the one I wanted ,but the William Guy isn"t the one but John did have a son William but wasn"t born till 1830 ,and William ended up as a blacksmith ..Is a wheelwright something in the line with carts and blacksmiths? But thank you again Erika there is always one that is hard to find but i am grateful for what you found for me . Joanna I am beginning to think that your John Guy if, as you say never left Liverpool.Lived in lodgings or with family. So wont be under Order of surnames because only the house holder is given. He should be under occupations though, providing he didn't keep changing it ,maybe he went backpacking with his horse and cart around the country Next time i am in Birkenhead on a job i will take John with me

If it's not too late I would like to check details of a Robert (James) Wilson, born c. 1845, who was apparently living in Oliver Street in the Edge Hill area of Liverpool in the 1860's. Was married in the area in 1866. He was apparently a bricklayer any info would be most appreciated.

Next time you go would you please do a look up for a Joseph Kendrick,a porter. The only reference I have to him is on his daughters July 1852 marriage cert. She was Ann Kendrick b about 1834.
I've not found her for definite in 1841 or 51 yet. Not found any Joseph Kendricks that fit either. She married a Bailey- and amazingly becomes fairly easy to track down after that.
The 1852 address was Storm Street,Liverpool.
Many thanks
Carol
