I am still struggling with the following families and would love to hear from anyone who has them in their trees or who can tell me any more about them:

i)Williams: I have Emanuel Williams, born c1780 probably somewhere in Hampshire. He married Ann Grose ( sp.various), in Portsea, 1812. I have found only three offspring for them - Ann - 1813, Sarah - 1815, Joseph - 1821. I feel sure there must be more between Sarah and Joseph. But more importantly, I'd like to know about Emanuel William's date and place of birth, plus parents.

Ann Williams (1813) married Samuel Cant from Brightlingsea in Essex but I have no idea what happened to her siblings.

ii) Grose: George Grose born 1759, Portsea, son of George Grose and ?
Also, Phyllis Grose and Joseph Grose, both born around 1760, offspring of George and ? Help needed on finding a name to replace the question mark.

iii)Lush: Sarah Lush, born 1763, Portsmouth, daughter of Joseph Lush and Sarah Venson.
Siblings were Joseph, 1765 and Amey, c1774.
I should like more information on Joseph Lush, father of Sarah, Joseph and Amey. I have no birth date or parents for him but he married Sarah Venson in 1761, Alverstoke.

iv) Venson: All I have is Sarah Venson who married the above Joseph Lush in 1761 in Alverstoke. Would love to find her parents.

Any help much appreciated.

You've probably seen these entries on knightroots but just in case: -

North Stoneham 4/3/1821 death of Joseph Lush aged 60

Southampton St Mary's a Sarah Lush marries Liney Jurd in 1789.

There is also a Ewan Venson who is a witness to a marriage in Hartley Wintney.
