Help Please in Melton Mowbray
« on: Wednesday 05 March 08 12:10 GMT (UK) »

Hi

Could anyone please help me , my great grandfather Job Faulkner spelt Forknall on the death certificate died 8th March 1876 due to falling off a cart  Saxelby, Melton Mowbray, Leicectershire, he was a railway worker and the certificate was received from the coroner so there was not a family member named as informant.
So I would like help please with what newspaper would be likely to report this accident.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Greeting's & welcome ...Annie..

I can have a look on your behalf
next week at the Leicestershire Records Office

They hold  several Local Newspapers on Microfilm.
I might find the report of the Coroners Inquest.

Then report back on this thread for you.

MIKE.
