Illigitamate son of Rachel Clark

Rachel Clark b 1807 had an illigitamate son , Robert b 1827, Berwick.  Father Alexander Dumble?. I believe Robert was brought up by the Dumbles. Does anyone have any info on Rachel and her family? Alexanders father was William Dumble and in the 1851 census Robert was recorded as Grandson.  Robert married a lady called Frances. Robert had the surname Dumble.
