Is it possible to read the records of children placed in the Hendon Union School about 1891. I would like to know when and why my relatives were placed and by whom.

What were the 'qualifications' needed to go these schools? Was it if the parents were poor or was it if there was only one parent or the child was orphaned?

Was there a age limit of when they were accepted and what age were they allowed to stay in these schools?

All comments and suggestions for my several questions appreciated.
