1916. Trade Directories. :~

Walter BALE. Photographer. Kibworth Beauchamp. Leicestershire.
Walter is the son of JOEL ( deceased ) & Emma Bale
on the 1891.& 1901 Census. with occupation of Photographer.
Working from Home……. Paget Street. Kibworth.

There is a younger brother = JOEL Bale ( 1879) who has not taken up this Occupation yet. …..

So could your J Bale be this Joel Bale ?

Or the Child of either Walter or Joel (Jnr) at a latter date

that sounds good mike
found a photo by walter bale taken in kibworth c1920 may day

joel bale(senior) died i think in 1884 market harborough(about 5 miles away
from kibworth)
joel bale(junior) is a railway goods porter on the 1901 census but may
have changed jobs
we really need to narrow down the date
walter may have married 3rd quarter 1901 market harborough

Sorry for delay in photo only had to go out.Have sent photo as requested hoping to narrow down the year it was taken.

Thanks for info on Bale photographers Kibworth.
The photo was given me by Evelyn Rose over 20 yrs ago before I started doing the family tree.
My late father-in-law Edward Godfrey Rose b.1902 + his sister Evelyn Rose b 1904
were born in Medbourne.Their parents John Godfrey b.1867 Medbourne + Angelina Rose(ne Hercock)b.1863 Grt Oakley.So trying to find out if it is Edwards + Evelyns parents on photo? and possibly the 2 children being Edward + Evelyn so the date might help.

I am wondering now if the children on the photo are Edward and Evelyn as the date seems to fit if so it could be Angelina holding Evelyn but as I have no photos of her I will proberbly never know.
