Would appreciate a 1841/1851 Census look up for married couple below.
I want to make sure the Susan and John Griffiths married in 1840
are the same couple in 1861 census with children listed below.
Susannah Powell and John Griffiths (farmer) were married Feb. 24, 1840
in Llanvair Waterdine, Shropshire, England. (according to IGI)
In 1861 census, a Susan and John Griffiths had:
William 15
Margaret 12
Susan 8
Emily 5
John 3

Llanvair Waterdine is close to Shropshire/Radnorshire border - England/Wales.

Dont know whether this is any good but saw the Llanvair Waterdine so am passing it on. Also on Ancestry Susannah is on index as Griffiths but listed on census page as Edmunds??
1841 at  cannot read name of house Llanvair Waterdine Shropshire townshipof Nancythanney...... I think difficult to read.
Edward Griffiths 58 Farmer Born in County of Shropshire
John " 18 "
Eliza " 9 "
Ann " 8 "
Susannah Edmunds 20 Servant NOT born in Co
Eliza Price 20 " "
John Jones 20 " "
Richard Beavan 44 "
Richard Griffiths 60 Ind Means Yes Born in Co.

I would like to thank you very much for posting the
1841 census showing Susannah Edmunds, 20, servant!
This made it possible for me to link her to her parents
Francis and Eleanor Edmunds!

Thank you for asking if I needed help with anything else.
I am so pleased through Rootschat to be able to help, just found relatives, in Australia find their roots.
I wish I was so lucky with my g-grandmother, Hannah Griffiths,
who was born in Minera/Rhos, Denbighshire, Wales. Others on Rootschat
have tried valiently to find her, without success, due to lost census records and the possibility that Hannah may have not been registered at birth.
I just do not understand how Hannah and her father can just disappear in following censuses. I am fortunate to have information on Hannah once she married in 1864 (father reported deceased on marriage cert.)
I would love to know the name of her mother and siblings, if any!
If you are interested in giving it a try, I will post the little information I have.

Wonderful that you would like to look for Hannah Hayes (nee Griffiths)!
I will start a new topic! On what board do you want me to post it Pam?
(Denbighshire, Cheshire or Shropshire?) She was born in Denbighshire, Wales but after she got married in 1864, lived in Cheshire, England.
The house is busy today with a birthday party going on, so I am not sure I
will have time to post it. If not, I will post it later this evening or tomorrow, Canadian time.

Hello, hope the party went well.
yes wi8ll have a look for Hannah' parents etc. You said you had Fathers details, but put everything you have on her. Denbighshire as that was birthplace. Has this been cinfirmed on her Birth Cert, obviously not or you would have Mothers name.
Was in Canada last September, beautiful country.

I posted requests for Hannah many months ago, and
I hope the rootchatters who looked for Hannah then do not
mind me doing again. They were very helpful but could not
find her, unfortunately.
