St. Newlyn East Cemetery Lookup
« on: Friday 07 March 08 20:05 GMT (UK) »

I would like to know if anyone has the burials for St. Newlyn East.
I would deeply appreciate a lookup for the name ROBERTS
The names are
Roberts, Barbara
Roberts, William Herbert
Roberts, James Henry
Roberts, Violet (nee Smale)
Roberts, Joseph Henry
I am not sure who else is buried there of the Roberts family.
A big thank-you to anyone who can assist me.

Some dates might help Cornishgal  Wink

Taking a stab in the dark here that James Henry you are after may be the son of Sampson. If that is the case, then his burial would be after 1900 and I am afraid I cannot help there. CRO were unable to supply me with any later records for this parish. Different rules apply for different parishes. If it were St Col Minor lets say I would be able to look at later burials and baptisms, but alas not Newlyn. Hope some of these you are after are before 1900.............Kris  Cry

Sadly, all names given are after 1900.
If there are any Roberts buried before that time could you give me their first names.
If that is asking too much, I am pleased you at  took the time to reply to my request. .

Too hard for me without dates. I just checked and a Transcription of Newlyn burials are listed in the OPC Database to 1900

http://www.cornwall-opc-database.org/searchdb.php?dbname=burials

Suggest you have me recheck the entries if you find any of interest, to ensure the entry is correct.  Wink

For any other earlier times you will need to provide me with names and approx dates.
