Ongar railway station Essex 1900-1916

I am looking for any pictures or any information of
my Granddad,  Charles John Adams   he was a porter then a signalman
for the Great-Eastern-Railways at Ongar railway station Essex.

If you go to Essex Record Office website (google SEAX), log on as a guest, click on 'Image search'at right and enter 'railway' in text box then on the first page you will get a hit for Loughton (which is near Ongar).
There are 2 splendid fellows in photo - this may be your lucky day and one of them is your bloke. Few other pics tocheck out

The Epping-Ongar line is now a preserved railway. The enthusiasts who run it may well have some pictures for you.
