Hi Myfi

Sorry I can't help about the burials but if you try a search in:

http://www.familyhistoryonline.co.uk/

You will see that a few come up (about eight) & can then decide whether to "pay & view" them.

Good luck

Oooo Mike

at last......someone else with the Abbey family   Cheesy

a couple of siblings of my main ABBEY/ABBA line from Hambleton, Brayton settled in Selby.

Are there many ABBEY names on the disc?
If too many to list could you see if there is a burial entry for Thomas who died either 1855 or 1858 would be aged about 80

MyFi,

If you have some earlier ones not on Mike's disc, I can get details of the burials     in the Cemetery 1858-1936 & St.Mary & Germain (Abbey) 1813-1837.  Unfortunately they are sorted by name not Cemetery so would be helpful for a Christian name.

Hi Gill

Thank you for your kind offer

Mary   buried 23 Jul 1828 age 57 (from the NBI) am hoping there may be more details

Joseph  who was born 1814.....haven't found him on any census or a marriage  so may have died in infancy

Marmaduke/Duke   died 1838 age about 65
(this one doesn't appear to fall inside the dates you give but  am including it just in case Wink)

regards

Hi Myfi,

I also get the information from the NBI so unfortunately cannot give you any more details than you already have for Mary.

Joseph's date of burial was 6 Dec 1820, an infant, at St Mary & St Germain (Abbey)

Couldn't find Marmaduke/Duke but there was a Duke Abbey buried 22 Aug 1918 aged 76 at the Selby Cemetery.

If you need any more, please let me know,

From Gill to Gill!!

Hi Myfi,

Had a look for the ones after 1901 & not that many so thought I would send them just in case.

Harold Abbey buried 3 Jan 1903 aged 36 hours
Jane Abbey buried 11 Dec 1909 aged 77 years
John Abbey buried 11 Feb 1933 aged 55 years
Thomas Abbey buried 1 Dec 1920 aged 84 years
William Abbey buried 3 Feb 1925 aged 57 years

Hi Gill

Another Duke (makes three now)......wonder who he belongs to?...best get searching..lol

many many thanks
