There's a Joseph William Holder marriage in 1872 on freebmd but I suppose you must have tried the site and disregarded it before now otherwise you would know Miriam's maiden name.

miriam holder born 1859/60 married stephen flyn 1887,had a child edward flyn they live in hunslet leeds yorkshire.

No of course not. Did you not search freebmd for the marriage of Joseph William Holder?
If you do not know what freebmd is I suggest you Google for it.
I do not give info which can easily be found on line, I prefer to let people know how to find it.

i know how to find bmd and i have also been on lds site to,i have a lot of holders name and dates which mum gave me before she died,i have been researching for 3 years been to gloucester so i dont ask for help freely.
im willing to help anyone who asks.i enjoy researching,but sometimes a little help along the way.thankyou for your reply brenda

You seem to have the wrong idea about me. I do not give info which can be easily found on line because it is more rewarding to the person searching if I tell them where to look so they can find it for themselves.
You seem not to have found Miriam's marriage to JW Holder which is shown on the tree you posted. It's on freebmd and they were married in Chepstow.

what might be easy to some might be hard to other,s,im 62 and have been researching for 3 years,im new to computer in the last 3 years and learning still.i dont exspect people to go out of there way to help,but a little help is very appreciated.i thought you were being sharp how you replied.thankyou for the info brenda xxx

When you find the groom you''ll be given a volume and page, click on the page (7) and you'll be given a list of possibles. One is a Miriam and there a good chance that's who you look for but the only way to be absolutely certain is to buy the marriage certificate.
You will notice that there's a Joseph married in Gloster in 1872, his possibe bride was either Selina or Annie but there might be some more names on the page which have not been transcribed - the number per page varies over the years and I've forgotten when they changed. Oh my memory/age!!

john no email as yet have you got ancestry?if so if you send me your private email i will send you an invite to view my tree i have lots of info on there.i will help you in any way i can.i have found two living rellies one from the holder,s and they live in canada a great uncle emmigrated there.and then my dads side i have found an half cousin and dad had 3 half brothers.have a good day brenda xxx
