I popped into the library after work and looked up the ancestry records.
Patrick Plumbe married Laura Viola Ham on 16 June 1921. He was 21yrs old, a farmer, born in Wigan and residing in Limerick. His father was listed as Patrick Plumb and mother as Alice, last name not know. Laura was only 16yrs old, born and residing in Limerick. Her parents were Thomas Ham and Ida Barager.
Laura crossed the border at Niagra Falls on 1 May 1926. She was 20yrs old, born in St Ola, Ontario. Employed as a rubber worker. Her permanent address was St Catherine's, Ontario. She was going to reside permanently in the US and the contact was Mrs Charles Zocher in Niagra Falls, NY. Relatives in Canada were listed as father Thomas Ham and husband Patrick, in St Catherines. There is a street name but I can't read it, Qu??aston Street perhaps.
I downloaded the images if you'd like them.
