Mary ROSIER bc 1793
« on: Sunday 09 March 08 11:40 UTC (UK) »

Hi,
Has anyone come across a baptism for Mary Rosier ? She was born about 1793 at Needham Market. Mary married John Fairweather on 2 Nov 1813 at Barking but she was not born there.
Thanks.
Tempsford

Hi Tempsford

If no one can help with this a volunteer offers lookups from the Needham Market Parish Registers at The Suffolk Surname List.

Hi Patrish,
Yes, I have seen the entry for Mary on the IGI and Gt Finborough is in the area of Needham Market but I just don't know if its correct.
Thanks.

No, I tried other avenues without success before I posted on here.  Sad

Hi Tempsford

If the Needham Market Parish Registers have already been checked without success, then you are really looking for a Mary ROSIER bc 1793, possibly in the Needham Market area.

As there is currently not a complete database of Suffolk Baptisms, your request has become too general to remain on the Requests board.  I really prefer requests on the request board to be very specific.  Your post did originally fall into this category, but as it no longer does, I have changed the title to "Mary ROSIER bc 1793 and I will move it over to the Suffolk GENERAL board for posterity in the hope that someone investigating this line will be able to help eventually.

Hi Sandie,
Thanks for the reply and the confirmation that Mary was baptised in Gt Finborough. I have Mary on the 1861 census living with her daughter Jane and son in law George in Ipswich.
I looked on the IGI for further details about the Rosiers but its all a bit vague!
Do you know if James and Martha were married at Hitcham?

Tempsford.
