Hello
In 1901 census West Ham for Jenkins there is:
Joseph Walter R Jenkins 37
Elina Sarah age 27 (think this should be Eliza)
Rueben W age 3
Joseph Walter age 2
Jane Jenkins age 64
I would love to know if there were any more children born, or any marriages of the children and deaths etc.

Wow that was quick, thanks very much. 
My particular interest is in the son Joseph Walter, who I think used the name Walter. Just wondering if he enlisted in WW1 - is there an online site I could check. I'm not at all familiar with availability of British services records.

Hi Barbara
The parents Joseph & Eliza married in Australia in 1896. Both were originally from England.
Joseph's father was Reuben. Eliza's maiden name was Marchant. I have their marriage cert. Been looking for any children born to them in Australia , but couldnt find any trace of them. On the off chance I wondered if they'd gone back to UK. I'd have to say that was them in the 1901 census.
So now I'm wanting to expand the family and find more details.
I'll check out the rootschat armed forces site.
Got to get some shuteye now - will get back to this tomorrow.

Hello,
I have found Joseph Walter Jenkins Attestation papers for Canadian Forces giving his address as New York. His next of kin is is brother Reuben Jenkins. The dates all match up, so I would think this is the fellow I am looking for.
Thank heavens for the name Reuben in the family - bit unusual so it makes things easier to match up.

just one for a Joseph Walter in 1903 with a Lizzie Wright on same page, which doesn't look right, they should have married abt. 1895.
