Hi could naybody please look up a Thomas Victory in the 1891 census he will be in the West Ham area, he will be around 20 .

What was his birthplace on the 1881 census.  The only one in West Ham in 1891 was b 1859

Thomas 10 b Plaistow

Phoebe 22 b Plaistow

all living at 32 Scott Street, Plaistow, W Ham.

all adult males are labourers.

but no Thomas or Henry (brother)

Hi  Yes you found the family in the 1881 census living in Plaistow and Thomas was 10,but no sign of Thomas or Henry in 1891 census, I ,could not find Thomas in the 1901 census either,there are so few Victorys ,it should be easy but it looks like Thomas is census shy,he may well have married late 1890's but no trace in free bmd,my friend believes that a William Victory born 1902 was the son of Thomas,so I will have to tackle the parish records at Essex PRO, I had hoped to narrow the number of church records I woulld have to look up,never mind thanks for your help.
