Seems possible this is actually Burnham, Buckinghamshire? Not too far from the Berks border. There is also a Burnham in Lincs.

jobucoth and IMBER,thank you for your reply's.The Burnham,Buckinghamshire in 1861 it was probably in Berkshire.i don't think its Burnham,Linc's.I will see if someone can look in the 1851 and 1841 census for me,to find were Edward and his wife Catherine were living.I seem to have got stuck on these two.Thank you both again.Cumbrian

jobucoth thanks again for replying.I get slightly baffled sometimes, like in the 1851 census they have a son S F aged 1,but in 1861 they have Josiah aged 11.is this the same son, what does S F stand for,it's little things like this that get me confused.Anyway thats my problem. Thanks,Cumbrian

Cumbrian,
I've just had a look at the 1851 image - it is "J F" in my view - not "S F".
Regards Harry

Harry thank you,yes that would make sence. The J F would be the Josiah i have in the 1861 census aged 11yrs.Another thing that gets me confused is children are in one census, but missing from the next.Even though they are young enough to still be with there family's.I suppose some of them died.Anyway Harry thanks again for your help.Cumbrian
