Berkhamsted Collegiate School is a public school which was formed in 1997 by the merger of Berkhamsted School, founded in 1541 by John Incent, Dean of St Paul's Cathedral, Berkhamsted School for Girls, established in 1888, and Berkhamsted Preparatory School. The National Archives site states that the old records are hald at the school and if you wish to see them you need to book in advance. www.berkhamstedcollegiateschool.org.uk
