Charles Stone, GG Grandfather, 1819 to 1916
|
Thomas Lawrence B 1796, was married to Elizabeth. I don't know her surname and thought that if someone could look up records for me I might be able to find some info. Elizabeth was born in Great Marlow, Buckinghamshire. They probably would have been married around 1826. They appear in the 1841 and 1851 census and have Thomas B 1827, Sarah B 1830, William B 1831, and Samuel B 1832.
They lived in High Wycombe, Bucks.
If anyone can help with finding Elizabeth's maiden name or the baptism of Thomas I would be grateful.

Thank you for your help. I have made one mistake though. I put the marriage of THOMAS and it should be John. Thomas is the son, B wycombe. John born West wycombe.
I hope I haven't totally confused you!
Thanks again

Yes - Thank you for all your trouble its definately John Not Thomas.
While you are looking up marriages in Gt Marlow there is a James Coleman or Coalman (spelt both ways in the censuses) B Ipstone 1803, wife Elizabeth B Gt Marlow 1806, married about 1827. I would like to find her maiden name also.
I hope this is not too much trouble.
Thanks again Amyou

Thank you so much for that Jill. It seems that the Lawrence marriage was probably in Wycombe then.
Thank you also for the Coleman marriage; another puzzle piece solved.
Bye for now
