I currently have the 1851 Census for this family taken at Midgham, Berkshire;
Richard WILLIAMS Head M 78 Dealer General Birth place unknown Hannah WILLIAMS Wife M 60 Berkshire, Beenham Arthur WILLIAMS Son U 28 Milwright Berkshire, Beenham (A)Dolphus WILLIAMS Son U 19 Ag Lab Berkshire, Midgham Stephen HAMBLING Visit U 19 Ag Lab Berkshire, Midgham
(Note: Adolphus probably grandson, being bastard son of head's daughter Louisa, not living with parents)
Going off the 1851 Census, can anybody help me with the 1841 Census and 1861 Census for this family? Confident that it will a Berkshire Census. I also realise by the ages of the parents, they may have not survived to the 1861 Census. Their names are too common to positively identify them on FreeBDM deaths.

Hello Les -
Not much luck in 1841 at present - the only one I could find was Adolphus, and he was in the Bradfield Union Workhouse, age 9 (Bradfield, Berks)
I'll have another look in a moment, based on what I found for 1861:
RG9 P. 905 Fol.52 Pg. 34 Cat Street, Bampton, Oxon Richard Williams Head M 83 On parish Relief B. Oxon, Bampton Hannah Williams Wife M 68 ~ ~ ~ B. Berkshire, Stanford
RG9 P. 856 Fol. 21 Pg. 36 Railway Pl., Chipping Wycombe, Bucks Arthur Williams Head Wid 32 Millwright B. Newbury, Berks Sarah Chilton Boarder Wid 32 Needlewoman Thomas Chilton ~ 11 Henry Chilton ~ 8 Sarah Chilton ~ 5 Fanny Chilton ~ 3 All the Chiltons were born Bucks, Wycombe
HMS Excellent, Portsmouth A Williams Royal Marine S 26 B. Midgham, Newbury, Berks
I'll go back to 1841 now and see if i can find them in Oxfordshire!
Hope this is useful

Thanks for your help ladies - much appreciated. I think the main problem here is that the WILLIAMS name is fairly common, therefore hard to be 100% certain, though I'm happy with the 1841 Census for Adolphus WILLIAMS at the workhouse.
The 1860 death of Richard WILLIAMS is a possibility, but then again not 100% certain. Even the Arthur WILLIAMS in the 1861 Census is a bit "ify". Unfortunately, I have nothing to say he was married, then widowed. Age is a bit out, but birth place seems okay.
Oh, the joys of having ancestors named WILLIAMS, SMITH, JONES...........................
