Hi from New Zealand!
I'm interested in the Bradley Family living in Coal Aston in 1901. I would like to know if their address is Cunliffe St.
I'm trying to verify that the "Willie" Bradley aged 13 in that household is my long lost grandfather William Bradley who married Annie Webster in 1912. Cunliffe St. is given as his address on the marriage certificate. His father's profession is given as coal miner and "Willie's" own profession as "brass finisher". It would appear "Willie's" older ?brother Henry was also a brass work buffer. The address confirmation would clinch the identification.

Many thanks, jobucoth!
I now have a solid base from where to start researching this unexplored branch.
There are also a couple of references to William (the father) and "Miss" Bradley with an address at Cunliffe St. (1902) in the Black Sheep Index.

Well, jobucoth, I've been looking in the free 1881 census at ancestry.co.uk and things are starting to get a little complicated.
The only William Bradley, married, coal miner, born 1852 (age 29) is a border with the Rhodes family in Skegby, Nottinghamshire. Unfortunately his place of birth is missing!
The wife's maiden name is more problematic! I have a list of all the Mary ? ?s born in Huntingdon district (Hunts, Stilton) 1855 - 1859. I found a Mary Ann Smith and a marriage to a William Bradley in Chesterfield (7b/1008 4th.Q 1879. Unfortunately, there is now an elder daughter Agnes (shown in your listing from the 1891 census) her birth date would be before this marriage....

Jobucoth - thankyou very, very much!....
Transcription errors certainly make this business tricky! I guess that's why it is so interesting - the detective work, the puzzle solving!
The Mary Ann Thompson isn't on my list of names from Huntingdon, but I'll look into it!
"Wacton", I guess that's Walton, near Ashover - another transcription error!...
Thanks, again.
