Any census

Received local paper today and within its articles is a photo of  a William Savill.  The caption reads 'the 19th century schoolmaster of Clavering ... one of the ... village personalities.'

As part of my family research is the Savill family of a neighbouring village, I am wondering if he could be connected.  However on looking on the 1881 census I cannot find any William Savill that is a school master, or any connection with a school.  I don't know any details apart from quoted above.  But I would be so grateful if somebody could do a look up in another census for me to see if he could be found.  Clavering is Essex.

1871 there are a couple and they are a farmer and an ag labourer

Interestingly -  the farmers is here in 1891 - his son William born 1870 is not with him

in 1891 the son born 1870 is  a dispenser to a doctor

and in 1901 is a Chemist and druggist. - so it's a mystery/
