Hi Jim1212,
thanks for your reply.. there may be a connection, however im not sure that the marriage would have been in Handsworth, because Joseph was from dudley and that would have been out of his parish...
the christening for the Elizabeth Meddens may be a bit more fruitful though as both Dudley and Hartlebury were in Worcestershire.. I will look at this more closely!!
Thanks

Hi DudleyWinchurch,
thanks for your message... with regards to the dates in the last few messages they were ascertained from the information on the familysearch.org website...
i haven't managed to get to Dudley Archives to check up on any of the dates to confirm them.. what were the ones that you have found?
Hi populardude,
Were the Family Search entries extracted or submitted?
there are several dates now up on FREEREG, doesn't yet include 1811 and 1812 (until next update) but Charlotte should appear then, baptised in October 1812. Baptisms from 1794 to 1812 should then be complete.
However, there didn't seem to be any baptisms at all for the date given for Hannah/Ann and if George is there, then I've missed him. I'll try to find time to check again more closely in the next few days and confirm the exact date for Charlotte.

Hi DudleyWinchurch,
Hey thats great stuff..
with regards to these dates etc.. they first came from another rootschat user... i checked briefly on that site and saw a few of them so took them as correct and complete... so i dont necessarily know too much about the site, but id say that they were probably submitted on to that site

Hi populardude,
I can confirm that Charlotte was baptized at Dudley, St Thomas on 25th October 1812, I think making it five children of Timothy and Sarah between 1794 and 1812. The other four should be available on the FREEREG site, already. I took a quick look at FamilySearch and the dates that you have got already seem to be from a non-conformist church, children also to Timothy and Sarah, could well be same family as the dates fit in-between the ones for the baptisms at St Thomas (so they seem to have switched between churches a few times).
However, Jane appears to belong to a different family (Thomas and Sarah). And there are other children that I can't find. Are you sure these all belong to the same family?
Haven't rechecked them all but if there are any other descrepancies between the FamilySearch and FREEREG records for St Thomas, let me know and I'll try to find them again.
