I have a Benjamin Furnell 1794 Molesworth  married to Susannah Foster b 1798 Thrapston in my family tree. They ended up in Bythorn & one of their offspring married into my Partridge family who hailed from Eaton Socon. His parents were Benjamin F b 1764 & Susannah Pettit.

Hi John

My Susannah FOSTER was baptized 6th May 1798 at Brington, HUNTS.  She was the daughter of Joshua FOSTER and Jane CHAPMAN. Susannah was one of 12 children.

I have some details on Benjamin And Susannahs  9 children, but have not found a connection to the name Partridge as yet.

Tigerlily,   Brington, Hunts is in the Thrapston Registration District, so I think we have the same family.  Benjamin & Susannah had son John Furnell 1821-1826 & he married Ann Hawkins at Brington on 15/07/1844. Amongst their children was Henry born 1849 Bythorn, Hunts. He married Eliza Partridge at Eaton Socon on 03/04/1872.

Eliza was born 1847, daughter of William P & Hannah Bowles, who married 24/10/1830 at Gt Staughton, William P b 1810 was son of Jonathan Partridge b 1789 Bletsoe, Beds. He is older brother to my gt-gt-grandfather.

Hello again,

I'm so sorry we struggled to find the others Tigerlilly .. I wonder if it might help if you posted each individual under a separate heading?  Undecided

When I was looking .. I did find this couple though .. but omitted to say because you hadn't mentioned them before ..

1841 census:
HO107/450/5, folio 1, page 11

Huntingdonshire, Brington

Joshua Foster, 80, Ag Lab
Jane, 75

Both born in county.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained so they say ..  Smiley

Kindest regards,

Pels
