I've been found !

Mr Mazie -
I think this might be Waterlooville ? Near Portsmouth?
The village was named after the inn, which was opened in 1815 and named for obvious reasons!
If you google Waterlooville there is quite a lot available, it seems, and although I have't read it all, the history of the Inn is mentioned - maybe further on it tells about whether it is still going

Thank you very much for the info thats Great. I have some of the info you have found out but with the rest you have filled in the blanks for me.
Another part I am looking for is the info on the pub called Waterloo and also if possable a photo so any links to this would be wounderfull.
Edward and Fanny had a son called Ernest while at the Inn at waterloovillein 1881 but 10 years later she was a widow back in Cornwall at Antony with the Kirwan family as house keeper.
Cant find any more info what happend to her husband or son. Any help with this brick wall would be very appreciated.
Once more thank you very much

In 1881 census Ernest is described as Grandson of Edward and Fanny - are you sure he was their son?
I think you may find he's entered twice on the census, the other time is with his mother and family at Farlington Hampshire: RG11/1138 fol.35 p.27
maybe son of a son from a first marriage for Edward Greentree?

Yes, that Edward must have been grandson and enumerated twice in 1881.
Here's your Edward in 1861 before marrying Fanny, he's a widower with son Augustus who later is young Edward's father
1861 RG9/698 fol.9 p.12 GREENTREE (indexed as Grantree) High St, Hambledon, Hampshire Edward head mar 36 Butcher (Master) Hambledon Samuel son 11 Scholar Fareham Augustus " 10 " "
death reg for Eliza Greentree 1857 Dec Qu Fareham 2b 289
1851 HO107/1661 fol.188 p.25 High Street, Fareham GREENTREE Edward head m 27 Innkeeper Hambledon Eliza wife m 32 Portsmouth Samuel son 1 Fareham
so I think if you see Edward and Fanny's marriage cert it should show he was a widower
