I am trying to find birth details of Thomas RIPLEY b c1898-9 York, father Benjamin RIPLEY mother Jane Ann WATTERSON

I have tried to find him on Free BMD but no luck. Huh

Also trying to find father Benjamin Parkinson RIPLEY b.1872 York on the 1901 Census

Hello.  I have found the following family on the 1901 Census.

RG13 / Piece: 4445 / Folio: 134 / Page: 40

Jane a Ripley 26 b. Normanton
Thomas Ripley - son - 2     b. York
George Ripley - son - 1      b. York

They are visitors at the Robert Rogers Family in York.  Address looks like 'Backhouse'  I will check the other pages to see if I can find Thomas father.

If you look on this website:

www.yorkshirebmd.org.uk

you'll find Benjamin Parkinson Ripley's birth in 1872 in the Micklegate Sub District of York - they give you a ref - MIC/29/1 to enable you to order the birth certificate.

I couldn't see Thomas's birth in York - the only one I could find was in Leeds in 1894, so possibly these years in York are still to be added.
