Hi

Can someone tell me.....or help me Please

I have a marriage of a Thomas Michell (Sometimes spelt Mitchell) to a Constance ...possible surname Michell....
it would have taken place in Gwinear about 1806-1808.....
I have found one on the Family Search site for the above named....on  25th April 1807.....is ther anywhere I can find out the name of Thomas's father ?

Sorry, fathers are not listed in Marriage Records until after civil registration began in 1837  Cry

I see the marriage you mention - neither list as of another parish at that time. Witnesses from the full end may provide some clue.

I don't see them easily in 1841. Do we know if they stayed in Gwinear and when Thomas died? I see there is a burial in Gwinear 8 Nov 1824 aged 41 years a couple of older ones buried 3 Nov 1822 aged 73 and buried 24 Jun 1827 aged 84. Is there anything in his children's names which may yield a clue as to his parentage?
