Hi

Have you checked on freebmd for a marriage or death?  Was she christened Sally or Sarah?

Where was she working in 1861 - Cornwall or elsewhere as she may have married out of the Cornwall area

Hi Rob,

1841 she is Sarah MATTERS aged 8 months HO107/146/5 Folio 19 Page 5

As to a birth the nearest I can see is a Sarah MATTHEWS Dec 1/4 1840 St Austell 9 6

I don't see a Sarah Matthews to fit this birth in Cornwall in 1841

Cheers Kris  Cheesy

Hi Rob

Where does she fit in your family tree.  If you are descended from one of her children, then a married name should be known
