I'm seeking the marriage of Robert CUMMINGS (1801-     ) to Ann 'unknown' (1801-     ) around 1825 in the Nova Scotia or Lambton areas of county Durham...


Any help would be great.

This is from the Penshaw Marriage Index-

11 Dec 1819 Robert Cummings=Ann Richie

According to Genuki Gazeteer, Penshaw is 3 miles WSW from Nova Scotia, and 3 miles SSW from New Lambton

Penshaw All Saints baptisms:

William Allan Cummings born 28 March 1832 baptised 28 Oct 1832 son of Robert Cummings of Lambton Cottage, pitman and Ann Richie.

John Cummings born 15 March 1834, baptised 11 May 1834 son of Robert Cummings, New Lambton, Pitman and Ann Richie.

You're lucky--you are getting actual birth dates.  Not all entries have that.

Its deffinately the correct Robert and Ann as I have the William Allan and John Cummings in the same census.
