Looking for Cowe Family

Wondering if anyone can help me? I am trying to find the parents of Janet Robinson Cowe born 1915 Coldstream Berwick, died 1994 Kelso. She was married to Arthur Fenwick. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Julie,
Janet's birth is less than 100yrs old which means that you will have to order the certificate through Scotland's People. I think it will cost £10. This should give her parents. Perhaps you will be lucky enough and find someone on rootschat who has links with your family. I have Cowes in my ancestry but they are from the Coldingham/Eyemouth area with no links to Coldstream that I have come across yet.

Just wondering if anyone can help me, I am trying to find any census for David Cowe born around 1862 Coldstream Berwick, married to Isabella Davidson 1886 Eccles.  His parents were Alexander and Helen Cowe. Isabella's parents were George and Margaret Davidson.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I couldn't believe it when I saw your posting so we are related. David is my 3g uncle. My 3g grandparents are his mother and father Alexander and Helen Cowe!!
I have the 1871 and 1881 census for him. I will send you a personal message with the info later today.
