Hi
I am having great trouble trying to find information on my ancestors for the generations before George Lafolley. He was born circa 1873 and was married to Celestine Du Tracte. They had 6 children, Albert, Lillian, George, Henri (my great grandfather), John and Edward. I have all the information for the generatinos after this but I am unsure as to whether the family name had changed from L'Affoley.
If anyone can help me with this I would really appreciate it.

It could well be, I could find George in the 1901 census so that's where I got his year of birth from.
I couldn't find anything on any other census.

married to Margaret,
he is 27, she is 25,
philips birthplace as st lawrence, jersey
margarets as st heleir
could she be his first wife and died, then marrying Ann ?
