I am looking for any inforamtion that may help me confirm the parents of Nathaniel Bridges. I have laready done quite a bit of searching so this is a plea just incase anyone can provide that little bit of information that helps me overcome this block.
In 1841 he is living in Frome, Somerset, working as a mason. He is married to Leah Hill whose family come from Frome
I have not found the marriage but am reasoanble certain this is the right one becasue of age of Leah and her maiden name used as name of child. But if anyone comes across it, please let me know.
NAthaniel did not come from Frome - per 1841 census - and he died in 1846 so I need to look for his birth elsewhere. I think he must have come from TImsbury or Farmborough. There are a lot of Bridges there - quite a few were coal miners which fits in with him moving on to be a mason in the marble works at Frome. Also Nathaniel used similar Christian names for his children. But I cannot find any trace of NAthaniel's birth.
I have looked at transcriptions of Tmsbury and Farmborough baptisms, and various on-line indexes. I cannot find any Nathaniel Bridges in this region. It has been suggested that at some time he chnaged his name. Can anyone help?

Nathaniel's marriage taken from an online marriage index:
Frome 19 April 1802
Nathaniel Bridges to Leah Salay Hill
wit: T. Jones & John Deacon
That's the extent of detail given in the index.

I had found this, but thanks anyway. It has focussed my mind on working out what happened to the family .
I have a probable death for Nathaniel in CLifton, Bristol in 1846. It is possible the family moved to Bristol in about 1816, and that Leah moved back to Frome with her daughter Sarah after NAthaniel died. Two of the sons stayed in Bristol and one moved to London. Like their father, they were stone masons.
I have outstanding queries on three of their five children.
Sarah Bridges - christened 1808 in Frome - died unmarried in 1870 in Frome. I have not found a burial for her but wonder if she is also at Frome Holy Trinity?
Mary Bridges - christened 1814 in Frome - I have not traced subsequently. Either she married or died before 1837? I have found a marriage for Mary Wise Bridges in Jul-Sep 1877 in Frome but this is probably the daughter of one of the sons (Wise was the maiden name of Nathaniel's wife). Is anyone able to look up this marriage. Per BMD it is to either to George Huntley or Charles Chivers.
Robert HIll Bridges - died in 1869 in Islington, London. Born circa 1818. I have not proved family link. I have assumed it becasue Leah's maiden name was Hill and Robert is another family name. He could have been christened in Bristol
