Looking for newspaper report ?Southampton

I am trying to locate a newspaper report from 1939.

My great aunt, Elizabeth Atherton,  left Southampton for New York, aboard the Aquitania, on the 14th January 1939.

Apparently she missed the sailing and had to taken out to the liner by tug.  A photographer of a newspaper took a photo of her climbing up the ladder of the liner.  As he took the photo, she turned to face the camera and laughed.  This photo appeared in a newspaper and apparently was extremely clear.

Can anyone give me suggestions as to where I should start looking for this clipping.  I've posted this request here, because I thought it may be a local newspaper and needed to start somewhere!

The newspaper you need to contact is the "Southern Daily Echo" they have a good archive department.
