Looking for father of Patrick McDowall b1731? Stranraer married Margaret Gebbie. his son William b. 1770 Stanraer went with father,to Co. Cavan Ireland married Margaret Kennedy Co. Cavan Drumcalpin. Died in Canada
Patrick's parents maybe James McDowall, Margaret McKie of Penninghame Galloway. Any proof?
