Deaths/Burials in Abingdon workhouse.

Hi,

If anyone could help, I'm looking for 2 deaths/burials at the Union workhouse, Abingdon.

Charlotte Prior died Q2 1870, and her husband John Prior died Q1 1886, both in Abingdon district.

John was the the workhouse in the '81 census.

I found a Charlotte Prior in the Berkshire Burial Index who seems to fit the bill -

buried Appleford SS Peter & Paul  21 April 1870 age 79

but I couldn't find an 1886 burial for a John Prior (of any spelling variation).

           This seems to be your John from Abingdon PRs  West St Helens church

May 8th 1886 John Prior age 83 from the workhouse.
