Can't find Emily in 1891 nor Joseph but did find a possible son of Joseph living with grandparents - not Hodgkiss though
Joseph C Cartwright aged 5 b Lye living with grandparents Henry Davis b 1848 Lye and Susannah Davis b 1848 Netherend
There is an 1883 marriage on freebmd to an Agnes Davis

If you have a look at the 1881 census - the Davis family were also in Bromley St in 1881. Agnes Clara Davis was 15 b Lye

It was Benjamin Homer as per 1891 census - guess the address - Bromley St - a couple of doors away from the Woolridges. All b Worcs
Benjamin Homer 25 or 26 b Careless Green?
Agnes C 24 b Hayes Lane
Edith Homer 2 b Highgreen Lane
Ruth Homer 5 mths b Bromley St
I think they have shown the addresses they were born at rather than the village etc
The children were surname Homer - I checked on freebmd - so presumably Benjamin was married before. As Ruth was only b December qtr 1890 he didn't waste much time.
There is a death for a Maria Homer in the same qtr 1890 aged 24 and a marriage in 1888 of Benjamin Homer & Maria Knott
