I am interested in information about descendants of John William Wallace, b. c1811 in Kilconquhar and married in 1876 to Helen Stenhouse, b. 1848. In the 1881 census they lived in Markinch and 4 children listed although I think there were actually 8 children. I would be very pleased to correspond with anyone else researching this family.

Hi
I have just started, and know that my great grand father joined names with his wife when they married, so he is either Scott or Wallace.
I believe his name is Norman James ?
Do you know if any of the children that you mentioned were named this, if so any help would be greatly appreciated
