Kia Ora Administrator please don't panic both the partners are deceased!
I am trying to track the families of my great grandparents who emigrated from Birmingham in 1878.
I have Marguerite Fairy Webb Born 1905 who married Fred Overstall in 1935 at St Michaels Handsworth in the County of Staffordshire. The Registration on the Certificate states Birmingham.
Just when I thought I was less geographically challenged I am back to state of confusion!
Marguerite was from a family of 7 (known) siblings all with the middle name of Fairy, She was the youngest as far as I know.
Her parents were Harry Elisha Fairy WEBB and her mother Jane Fletcher. Father was a Scale Manufacturer.
Harry Elisha Fairy Webb married Elsie Heath? Daisy Fairy Webb Philip Fairy Webb Clarence Fairy Webb married Gladys Perrins? Ida Violet Fairy Webb John Fairy Webb 1902-1902 & lastly Marguerite
Might anyone have any knowledge of any of these persons? Might anyone have a Directory of some sort with another clue? The address looks like 21 Leinel ??Grove Handsworth. Witnesses Amos Leslie Holmes and Nancie Marland. Fred Overstall was a Chartered Electrical Engineer of 14 Waverbell /Waverhill ? Rd Handsworth.
If anyone has any wee gem to add to my knowledge I would be grateful for a Personal Message!
Thanks

Hello Marlene
Handsworth, Aston and Birmingham are next to each other, no green fields between the sprawling mass of buildings, just one continuous built up area. Up until 1911 Handsworth was in Staffordshire but since then it was transfered to Warwickshire and a district of Birmingham.

Many thanks Skylark! I must put a completed notice on this message! Sorrry! Interestingly because of the title I used, a member of the family playing on the web, discovered my post and contacted me. Even more interestingly a descendant of the family emigrated to New Zealand (where I live) in the 1960s! It has been fasinating to folow the generations forwards!
The Harry E Webb died 1924 is not mine though.
Thanks for your help! Marlene
