FINNERTY/CAMMILL
« on: Monday 17 March 08 11:09 UTC (UK) »

any information greatly received
i am trying to find birth/christening or anything that may help me.
i am looking for column/columbus finnerty born approx 1838 and on a census i have it states queens county - his father was thomas finnerty a farm labourer.

also,
bridget cammill who was born approx 1839 in mayo - her father was henry cammill a farm labourer.
they married in walsall, staffordshire in england in 1866 at that time henry cammill was deceased.
many thanks in advance
belinda

Civil registration of births in Ireland started 1864. To find church records in Ireland you need to know the family's religion and where they lived (parish if not actual townland not just the county).

If that's the case it will be records from their local Catholic church that you need to track down (if they still exist) which is why you also need to know the parish or townland where they lived.
