Children of Thomas Jackson and Elizabeth

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help. My sources say that Thomas Jackson, born Hilborough c1741 and his first wife Elizabeth had two children. However the dates I have do not quite add up. They are as follows:

Thomas - born 1773 and died 1778
Hannah - born 1775 and died 1778 - baptised 27 December - All Saints with St Mary

Now the dates I have for his second wife indicate that he married her on 24 December 1764. Their children were:

Thomas - born 1765 and died December 1765
Ann - born 18 Sep 1772 and died 1773, buried 17 June 1773.

His second wife died May 1773 and buried 16 May 1773.

Now unless the order of the wives have been muddled up this does not make sense.

Any Information that would help solve this would be great.

By the way his second wife was Ann Spinks, born hilborough 1743, daughter of Edward Spinks and Ann Young.
