Could someone please look up a George Waller in the 1851 census?
George was born in Doncaster and would be about 64. He was a cabinet maker. His wife was Elizabeth, one year younger. In 1841 they were living in Southwell but by 1861 they had moved to Sheffield. I don't know when they moved. So the entry could be in either Nottinghamshire or Yorkshire. Thanks

Hi Jane Yes that is the couple. They probably moved after Elizabeth's father with whom they were living in 1841, died.
I had George in 1841. I use "findmypast" for censuses but they don't have the 1851 on yet. They've just completed the 1871 and are planning the 1851 next.
thanks Eric
