Without knowing her fathers name - how can you reject the 1881 Rosina who fits the profile for the 1891 Primmer entry

Hello again Baggsy!
Just to remind you, when you first came on RC back in Feb. we found the marriage of William Primmer and Rose Hadley Q1. 1889 Reading.
(The thread was called Reading Family)
Did you send for that marriage certificate? The certificate would give you the name of Rose's father and his occupation, which would make him easier to trace in the censuses.
Also - don't dismiss out of hand Rosina and/or Rosetta - it is quite possible that Rose was one of other of them, deciding to call herself just Rose. In fact, there is a high possibility it is Rosina since that is the only apparent registration in Reading within that time frame, and the only apparent one on the 1871 and 1881 census - albeit mistranscribed in 1871.
But, to be certain you need to get the marriage certificate.

Hi Again I Haven't rejected Rosina at all Carole, just wondered if there was a rose Hadley out there as well as she is always referred to as Rose on most census and Marridge look up!!
I did actually remember the post you mention after I had already posted my new thread.Thank you, I'm getting on quite well since then, but have come across a few brick walls on the way, next time I am in Reading might see if I can arrange a trip to the offices for a few lookups...! Its just finding the time, I have had a family member mention Rose's father might have been a Charles, according to notes so might go down that rd in the meantime, and as you say obtain her marriage cert to be certain... Still searching for Charles Primmer's parents as well, lot's to be going on with, funny how it all goes along smoothly then you bump into a big brick wall.. Thank you for help I always appreciate it.

Well, the same applies to Charles Primmer.
He married Leah Q3. 1863 Kensington.
That marriage certificate will give his father's name and occupation, and we / you can go from there.
Come back on when you've got those two certificates and we'll see how we can help further.

Might be a while before I can buy them, as low on funds this month, already bought some units on census look ups, and it being Easter week-end with 4 Grandchildren, have to spread the cost of my hobby carefully these days...
Will be back though i'm sure..
