My great-grandmother was Beatrice Olive BOWYER, born 24/8/1883 in Woodville? South Australia. However I know nothing of her parents, other than they may have been William BOWYER and Charlotte EVA?, and that William may have been a butcher.
Beatrice was raised by her uncle and aunt Mr & Mrs John TYLER , Penola Rd, Mt Gambier and married my great-grandfather George Herbert EDWARDS at their residence on 19/12/1906.
Any info on Beatrice's parents would be greatly appreciated.

I've found Charlotte Eva's death..... 
Charlotte Eva BOWYER aged 49 years resident of Woodville died 24th May 1906 at Woodville
Husband = William BOWYER
Ref = PtA 318/115
Unfortunately the deaths of the Williams are too vague without other knowledge to identify your William.

Hmmmmm....no marriage for James Tyler and Charlotte Werrett(Wyatt).
It was early days of the colony and not all marriages are in the Index, and not all marriages were registered......

With regards to William Bowyer - have found at least 16 different William Bowyers in 19th century Australia, more than half of them convicts. Maybe that is why Grandpa refused to discuss them when mum was doing the initial research.
