Death for Robert Grimer
« on: Tuesday 18 March 08 13:41 GMT (UK) »

Anyone help with finding a death for Robert Grimer? Born about 1830 (Holbeach/Holbeach Bank), living Moulton in 1871. Not sure of whereabouts after this date, although still alive in 1874.

Thank you

He is 12 on the 1841 Census; 21 on the 1851; 33 on the 1861 and 43 on the 1871 Census.

I haven't found a baptism on the IGI though - although I'm not sure I've looked.

He was definitely alive in 1874 as his name is on his step-daughter's marriage cert. The groom's father is listed as deceased so one would assume that Robert was very much alive and well.

Thanks again Geoff - you are a star!

Mind you that would give him a birth year of 1834 which could be upto 5 years out but then his Misses' age is all over the place so who knows.
