Married to Eleanor Prophet
I can only find one son
John Robert Rollo b 1887 London d 1919
Where can I look to find if they had any more family
Also I don't have Eleanor's perants

Hi,
Where did you get Eleanors maiden name as Prophet? I can see her son in 1891 with his Rollo grandmother in Berwick.
Theres also this marriage -
Eleanor Ann Rollo June 1890 Berwick Vol 10b Page 700
Groom - Philip James Crumpton
They are on 1891 census RG12/4267 Folio 34 Page 10 (shes listed as age 21)

If John William dies in Jun 1899, then the marriage of an Eleanor Rollo to Philip Crumpton in 1890 cant be the same lass.

Sure enough 11 year old Eleanor is with her.
So I agree that the marriage of Eleanor Rollo is John William's sister then.

Could it be that Eleanor has died by 1891 as there are dates for marriages of John William Rollo in 1894....again in Marylebone .
Elizabeth do you have his death cert OR his marriage cert.

What do you make of those two marriage entries,one is 1025 and the other 4025.
They do each seem to tie up with the right number of girls and yet I'm not sure if it DOES say 1025.It looks more like 4025 to me.

I have the tea to make and thank you both at this moment I too will read all this through again
I know John Robert Rollo William son lived at Berwick for a time as he married my grandmother's sister Eleanor Turnbull Thompson
John sailed to Australia and she followed him they were married in Australia
John Robert Rollo was killed in Egypt in WW1 ( then living in Australia ) aged 34 .I was wanting to find if he had any siblings

We are trying to establish where mum and dad were if John jnr was with grandma for the censuses.That should lead us on to finding if he had any siblings.
But we don't seem to have tracked them down yet do we?

I sent to Australia for my great Aunts marriage and this is where i found John Robert Rollo 's parents
His father was John William Rollo his mother Eleanor Prophet
I then went into Ancestry.co and found the marriage of John William to Eleanor Prophet Dec Quarter 1886 ( got no further with her )Maryleborne London
I also found John Williams death in Ancestry age 34 June 1899
